We embrace campers with a wide range of disabilities, recognizing each child’s potential in all skill areas. Activities are designed to enhance social, motor, language and other vital life skills that promote greater independence. Emphasis is placed on helping campers make new friends while having fun in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment. Campers are grouped by age, skill level, camper readiness (and gender for older age groups). Group placement is contingent on camper enrollment. All camp groups participate in community based field trips. Each camper will have the opportunity to experience inclusive social opportunities within our community.
There are opportunities for inclusion in our typical camp for campers who are developmentally ready to participate with same age peers. The inclusion program accepts a limited number of campers each summer.
