Our Theater Camp is dedicated to the creation, production and performance of musical theater. Our productions are specifically designed for the energy, attention span, and skills of elementary and middle school students, and are adapted for pre- and adolescent voices. Running 60-70 minutes, our shows are abridged but long enough to tell a complete story through script, song and dance. Each session focuses on a complete production.

The Addams Family Young@Part®
The Addams family comes to life at JCC Theater Camp!
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family whom her parents have never met. She confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the morbid, macabre world of Ghosts, Zombies and the recently departed. Add on that the whole Addams family; Gomez, Morticia, Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and Lurch will now be forced to host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Yikes!
SESSION 2: July 13 - August 5, 2022
Disney's High School Musical Jr.
High School Musical Jr returns to JCC Theater Camp!
Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical comes to life in Disney’s High School Musical JR. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra curricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.
It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple causes an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.
