After School Youth Conditioning Program

Kids ages 8-13 work with certified instructors to create a well-balanced mix of fun-filled activities designed to improve physical health and mental well-being. Program is held in the Fitness Center where kids learn to use cardio and strength equipment. Other activities include developing core strength, total body flexibility, and cardio-vascular fitness. A minimum of 3 people required to run the program. Open to the community.

Perseverance Basketball at the J – Youth League

Perseverance Basketball strives to teach the game of basketball using a unique instructional style, with age appropriate curriculum. Our Youth League utilizes a particular set of “Perseverance in-game rules” that are used to encourage competitiveness, skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun!

Villari's Martial Arts at the J

Combines the Shaolin Kung Fu, Kempo, Karate, and parts of several other disciplines including Western Boxing, Jujutsu, and Chin Na. The benefits of martial arts training include focus, discipline, respect, confidence, self-defense, empowerment, self-esteem, conflict resolution, self-control, anti-bullying, flexibility, health and fitness. Master instructor Mark Pearson is a 9th degree black belt with over 35 years of experience.
