What Makes Zale Different

We believe children are capable of extraordinary things. Our passion and goal is to provide your child with developmentally appropriate learning opportunities, love and support while nurturing their academic growth. Our goal for each child is to be successful in their next steps and be filled with confidence! Our days are filled with mindful moments, music, creativity, outdoor playtime, learning about our Jewish identity and exploration of the world around us.

We recognize that children learn in many ways– through artwork, dance, music, language and the written word. Our educators support creative thinking by providing open-ended materials that inspire children to ask questions, investigate and share what they learn. Your child will make friends while building the social, emotional and academic skills needed for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Great beginnings start with great educators

Our dedicated and experienced educators are degreed/certified, highly qualified and are deeply committed professionals. We take pride in the fact that they are among the area’s most respected professionals. They possess a superior understanding of child development, an interest in the uniqueness of each child and an ability to provide a warm and nurturing environment.

The Betty & Marvin Zale Early Childhood Learning Center offers unlimited opportunities for growth and learning. We have designed our curriculum to build the skills that are necessary for children to become problem solvers, successful students and lifelong learners. Every learning experience is designed to meet one or more of your child's four areas of development; social/emotional, cognitive, physical and cultural. Click here to learn more »

Separation Classes (18-20 months)

Our unique classes enable toddlers to ease into and experience the wonder and excitement of going to school. Children initially attend classes with a parent or caregiver and then gradually separate and gain independence with loving support from our teachers.

Preschool (Age 2 - Pre-K)

We believe that each child needs a superior program that meets all of their needs equally: academic, social/ emotional, creative and physical. On a daily basis, children approach learning as an adventure. Our curriculum is recognized by area school leaders for graduating children well prepared for kindergarten and beyond.

As part of our standard curriculum, we offer weekly specials in music, movement, library, science, and physical education. Jewish values are woven throughout our program with opportunities for those of all backgrounds to connect with each other and the larger Levis JCC community.

Classroom Environment

Every classroom inspires a love of learning. Our spacious classrooms are thoughtfully designed for each specific age group with great attention to detail to be developmentally appropriate. From the room setup, elements and materials; our classrooms invite children to explore, discover and learn about the world around them!

Outdoor Learning

The Zale Garden, Nature Preserve, Splash Pad and our four developmentally appropriate playgrounds reflect the beautiful campus that we call home and provide endless play, exploration, exercise and fun outdoors.
