Description
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. Join the Levis JCC and Sharsheret for events and learning opportunities in October and November. ON OCTOBER 19: • WEAR pink to show your support of Breast Cancer Awareness. • LEARN “What’s Jewish About Breast Cancer” in an informative lecture at 2:30 pm in the Group Exercise studio located in the Sports & Wellness Center. RSVP to septemberc@levisjcc.org. • PICK UP giveaways and informational materials in the Levis JCC Sports & Wellness Center, Levis JCC Zale Early Childhood Learning Center and Levis JCC Sandler Center. • WORKOUT in our Fitness Center as our guest or take one of our Group exercise classes.
