Rosen Gallery Opening Reception Spring Exhibitions April 3 – May 20 Opening Reception Sunday, April 3, 1:00 – 4:00 pm Artists Talks, 2:00 pm Pottery Guild Presentation, 3:00 pm Watercolorist Gustav Wander Gustave Wander considers himself a realist, but his depictions of light and shadows are a major source of focus and inspiration in his work. The play of light, where sunlight and shadows fall on his paintings are just as important as the individual subject matter. His paintings are highlighted, glimpsed moments of time that could be gone forever if one looks away for an instant. Over the years he studied with over twenty eight different watercolor teachers. This retrospective solo exhibition gives tribute to an artist whose paintings and teaching have inspired countless watercolorists over the decades. Levis JCC Pottery Guild Show Utilitarian, sculptural and decorative works of ceramics created by members of the Levis JCC pottery guild and master potters Marilyn Wander and Gina Skillings will be on display and available for sale.
