Description
The Academy Award winning writer of The Pianist and The Dresser delves into the choices people make when faced with unspeakable evil in this fictionalized account of the true investigation of German conductor Wilhelm Furtwangler. Did he help Jewish musicians escape Germany or support the Third Reich? Furtwangler is pursued by a resolute and relentless American investigator determined to find out. Both are laid bare as the play reaches its dramatic conclusion.
